Die Idee der IHHT

Bei dem Intervall-Hypoxie-Hyperoxie-Training (IHHT) atmen Sie als Patient über einen Zeitraum von ca. 30-60 Minuten abwechselnd sauerstoffarme und sauerstoffreiche oder sauerstoffarme und Normalluft über eine Atemmaske ein. Wie der Name schon so schön sagt, geschieht dies während der 30-60 Minuten in Intervallen – z.B. jeweils 3 Minuten Normalluft und 7 Minuten sauerstoffarme Luft.

Die sauerstoffarme Luft entspricht der Höhenluft auf einer Höhe von zwischen 400-6.500 Metern. Es ist also so, als würden Sie in dem Zeitraum drei bis vier mal einen Berg besteigen – nur, dass Sie dabei entspannt und bequem liegen!

Die Höhenluft setzt einen Reiz im Körper. Genauer gesagt setzt sie einen Reiz in unseren Körperzellen. Dies führt dazu, dass Mitochondrien sich regenerieren und gesunde Mitochondrien auch vermehrt neu gebildet werden.

Somit steht dem Körper in jeder einzelnen Zelle mehr Energie zur Verfügung und Energie treibt alles im Körper an!

Wie ist der Ablauf des
Intervall-Hypoxie-Hyperoxie-Trainings (IHHT)?

Vorbereitung

Vor und nach der ersten Anwendung des IHHT werden wir bei Ihnen eine HRV-Messung (Herzratenvariabilitätsmessung) durchführen. Sie gibt mir Auskunft über den aktuellen Zustand Ihres vegetativen Nervensystems. Dieses reguliert über das Nervensystem die Organe, Gewebe und Strukturen Ihres Körpers mit. Nach der Anwendung des IHHT ist die Messung in der Regel um ein Wesentliches verbessert. Folglich können wir sehen, wie gut das IHHT bei Ihnen wirkt.

Ablauf der Anwendung

Während des IHHT liegen Sie entspannt und äußerst bequem auf einer Liege. Über eine Atemmaske atmen Sie über einen Zeitraum von ca. 30-60 Minuten abwechselnd sauerstoffarme und sauerstoffreiche oder sauerstoffarme und Normalluft ein.

Sie lauschen während dieser Zeit über Kopfhörer ebenso entspannter Musik, damit Sie tatsächlich einmal ganz „runterkommen“.

Nebenbei wird über einen sogenannten Pulsoximeter an einem Finger fortwährend Ihre Herzfrequenz und auch der Sauerstoffgehalt Ihres Blutes gemessen und vom Gerät in Folge zur Kontrolle aufgezeichnet.

Nach der Anwendung sollten Sie den Rest des Tages viel trinken und sich eher schonen. Schließlich ist die Anwendung des Intervall-Hypoxie-Hyperoxie-Trainings (IHHT) ein bißchen wie eine kleine Sporteinheit für den Körper zu betrachten.

Häufigkeit der Anwendung

Zu Beginn empfiehlt es sich, 1-2 mal pro Woche eine solche Anwendung zu genießen, gerne über einen Zeitraum von 4 Wochen. Danach können die Anwendungen seltener in Anspruch genommen werden.

Viele Menschen genießen es so sehr, dass sie gerne einmal pro Woche oder alle 14 Tage wiederkommen.

Das Intervall-Hypoxie-Hyperoxie-Training (IHHT) hat nicht wirklich Nebenwirkungen. Infolgedessen kann man es auch nicht wirklich „überdosieren“. Wir Menschen setzen unsere Körper im Alltag durchaus immer wieder vielen schädigenden Einflüssen aus. Somit macht es durchaus Sinn, die ausgleichende Wirkung des Intervall-Hypoxie-Hyperoxie-Trainings (IHHT) immer mal wieder in Anspruch zu nehmen.

Die Intervalle, die Anwendungsdauer sowie auch die Höhe des Berges, den Sie während der Anwendung erklimmen, werden von mir vor einer Anwendung individuell auf Sie abgestimmt festgesetzt. All diese Parameter sind jedoch auch immer flexibel, sogar während einer laufenden Anwendung, anpassbar.

Tatsächliche, negative Nebenwirkungen hat das Intervall-Hypoxie-Hyperoxie-Training (IHHT) nicht wirklich. Folgende allgemeine Erscheinungen können Sie während der Anwendung oder danach eventuell wahrnehmen:

  • leichte Kopfschmerzen
  • leichtes Schwindelgefühl
  • leichte Erhöhung des Pulses (während des Trainings/ der Anwendung)
  • körperliches Schwächegefühl (oft eine Art „Erstreaktion“)
